I was gifted the first two books of The Heaven Hill MC series, by a dear friend after a weekend of late night book talk. With that being said it’s with bittersweetness that I write this review. Although I was not there from the beginning, it was pretty close. I have come to love this series and yes I’m a bit sad to see it end.
Mandy is a stronger woman than I gave her credit for. Falling in love back in high school and knowing then he was the one. Fast forward a decade or so, lots of ups and down, an unexpected pregnancy, and an MIA boyfriend has rocked Mandy’s world to the core. She dug deep and found an inner strength while falling apart. Mandy proved that she grew into a very fine woman who knows a good man when she finds him. Even if he needs a lot of work.
Dalton, until this book was not one my favorite people. His brass and ass like ways towards Mandy make him when to smack him upside the head. The man has kept a lot of himself lock away that you really don’t understand until he’s ready to let you in. Dalton is one of those people that you can’t judge a book by its cover. Although many of us will not agree with his actions, will assume where his mind is at and not understand his intentions, his heart is truly in the right place. Once the stubborn headed man opens up.
Laramie Briscoe has this wonderful way of writing real life moments into her stories. I felt like I was reliving many moments of my own pregnancy while reading Dalton and Mandy story. Love is not easy, it’s hard work and well worth it in the end. Mandy and Dalton loved, hurt, fell apart and in love all over again. Communication is always the key, these two had to learn the hard way before they can find their everlasting happiness.
The Heaven Hill MC series has become a series that I feel at home with. I was there from almost the beginning and followed it through to the end. Laramie Briscoe not only gave her readers wonderful books to get lost in, she also gave them a family to come home to. I also want to note the amazing growth in writing that Ms. Briscoe has shown throughout the series. Emotional depth, strong personalities, hard issues, passion, family and love, is delivered flawlessly making the reader feel right along with the characters they are reading. I am sad to see the ending, but give Ms. Briscoe my highest praise!

Life has taken its toll on Liam and Denise. Between the club, the kids and everyday coming and goings passion and togetherness have taken a back burner. Sacrificing themselves for the good of the ones they love and care for.
Taking a well needed weekend to allows memories to flow and remind them just why they love each other and why it’s important continue to work on your love. Seeing the sweet side of Liam reminded all over again of why I totally fell for that man. The growth of both Liam and Denise as individuals and a couple is evident and shines through the words. Laramie heats up the passion full force. I loves seeing these two once again.

Remembered: A DuChamps’ Dynasty Novella by Seraphina Donavan
Drama, tension and a man who worships his wife. I have read Ms. Donavan work but the DuChamps’ are new to me. I got caught up quickly and before I knew it I realized I need to read more of this series, especially how this couple met. Feelings and passion are felt through the pages. I loved that Vicent and Ophelia react accordingly and proved love can really get you through anything. I’m very much looking forward to reading more of the DeChamps’.

An act of friendship puts more than their friends status on the line for Sass and Reed. Emotion becomes a big player when the game becomes more real than either expected. While healing one heart another starts to shatter.
Extremely well developed characters, a good plot and excellent writing has readers flying through the pages. Laramie Briscoe is able to take lifes breathtaking moments, both good and bad, transcribe them to words and make readers feel something that seems so real, you question if you are really reading a book. And can’t help but to fall hard. Sass is going to hit you hard in the heart. Just like any good romance should.

I had the wonderful fortune of being introduced to Ms. Briscoe’s work by a fellow reader and friend who I trust when she says need to read this. Through the journey of her stories I have gotten to see Ms. Briscoe grow tremendously as a writer. In a little under two years she has made her way into one of my favorite authors spots. With her latest work, Ms. Briscoe has truly stepped to a new level that far exceeds any expectations I have come to develop in her work.
Sketch is raw, real and deep. This is a book that hits close to home in a big way. Falling in love is the easy part, maintaining it is where it gets real. Ms. Briscoe hits it right on with Sketch. Relationships are filled with emotion, both good and bad. Communication is the key to keeping everything level, and as relationships are filled with emotion, both good and bad. Highs and lows. It’s how the couple communicates to get through it. Sketch and Nina’s story is so real it gave me chills as I was reading, and had me looking back on my own feelings in my ten year running relationship. There is no way you will not feel something while reading Sketch. And you will be proud to say #IGOTSKETCHED!
Sketch is Ms. Briscoe’s best work. Her voice as a writer is shining through creating magic with her words. A five star read and a top read for 2016.

Laramie Briscoe knows how to hit your heart hard.
Drew Walker watched his true love walk out of his life. After ten years, a long string of nameless women and few falls into a very dark places, Drew has become a damn good man. Strong, hard working, and a good looking man. I do believe Drew is a fine southern gentleman under his badass biker exterior. Drew is the best of Liam and Tyler together. That’s saying something.
Charity Thomas wanted nothing more than to not be like her stripper mother. Walking away from home leaving a huge chunk of her heart behind was the hard decisions she’s had to make. Ten years and a dream under her belt, Charity is summoned home, a better woman than before she left. Charity is just as brave as all the Heaven Hill women. Smart with a huge heart, she found a confidence during her time away that helped her become a fine woman.
With each book Ms. Briscoe completes, the level of emotional depth and passion continuously increases. The words become emotions the reader easily feel, making the story more life like in the process. Drew and Charity’s story has once again exceeded any level of expectation that I have for Ms. Briscoe’s books.
From beginning to end the reader is able to feel the heartache, sadness, loss, love, excitement, and freedom right along with Drew and Charity. It’s a bumpy ride with a bit of suspense that leaves your heart pounding in more ways than one.

In a time that should be filled with happiness, Cash and Harper are at a kind of stand still. All the secrets are out and hearts are hurting. This is where the healing begins. Cash shows the man he truly is (totally giving Tyler a run for his money. Fans of Laramie’s Heaven Hill Series will understand) with his compassion, willingness to trust, loyalty and patience. Giving his love and support to the woman that truly changes his life.
Harper’s fear got the best her. Keeping a part of her locked away. Shame and embarrassment makes a girl do things that hurt. A good kick in the butt from a friend and Cash’s loyalty and persistence, Harper opened her heart whole to the love of a man that changed her for the good.
Cash and Harper send the reader on an emotional roller coaster showing love is not always easy but so worth it in the conclusion to the Red Bird Trail Trilogy, In Tune. No emotion is spared, as Cash and Harper work together to get their love IN TUNE!
Ms. Briscoe has in my opinion, really out done herself with not only In Tune, the Trilogy as a whole. With each book Laramie writes, the characters become more real. Cash and Harper are no exception. Individually they will hit your heart, together set it on fire. Passionate, heartwarming and emotional. I didn’t view In Tune as the end of a trilogy, but as a new beginning for Cash and Harper.
