BLURB:
Andrew Prince wakes up before everyone else. He schedules the bar shifts, demands perfection from Long Beach’s lifeguards—most of all himself—and makes sure the family debts are paid. His unfaltering worth ethic might leave him exhausted, but it comes with one advantage. It distracts him from the love he’s been harboring since childhood for the girl next door—who he cannot have.
Jiya Dalal has dreams. To fly a plane, see the world below…and prove irresistible to her best friend, Andrew. But she needs to be a good daughter first, which is becoming an increasingly difficult task, since her parents expect a good marriage and the man she loves with all her heart refuses to pursue the blistering connection between them. Just when she’s beginning to believe Andrew truly doesn’t want her, a moonlight tryst on the beach exposes his true feelings. But an echo from the past kept them apart before…and it’s only growing louder with every stolen kiss…

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans and laptop, driving cross-country to New York City in under four days.
Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.
She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband of eleven years and six-year-old daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.
Excerpt
Jiya looked up and found Andrew watching her intently. “What is this, Andrew?”
“We’re dancing,” he rasped, his gaze slightly unfocused.
“You’ve never danced with me like this before.”
His gaze strayed to her lips, before he resolutely dragged them away. “Do you want to stop?”
“No and that’s the problem.” Come on, Mrs. I Don’t Play Games Anymore, bring up the elephant in the room. It’s not going away. “You’ve been different with me lately. Is it…” She took two bracing breaths. “Is it because I’m dating?”
He started to deny it, then changed his mind. “Might be. Yeah. I know that’s fucked up,” he said. “You’ve always been min—my best friend. We won’t have this if you start dating someone seriously. If you…”
“Get married?”
His complexion turned gray. “Mmm.”
Cement caked her insides, but she was used to it by now. She’d loved Andrew since she was a child. She’d waited patiently for him to love her back—as more than a friend—and he hadn’t. He’d done nothing about it. So while she yearned to dissect his every word and rejoice in them, ached for what he was feeling, she couldn’t do it anymore without being a fool. “Ask me the question, Andrew. The one you ask me every night.”
A line formed between his brows. “Can I do anything for you, Jiya?”
“Yes.” She took his face in her hands. “You can stay my friend. No matter what happens. Fine, things are changing in my life. But I couldn’t bear it if I ever lost what we have. Just stay my friend. Promise me.”
His jaw bunched. “You know I’d cut my heart out before saying no to you, right?”
“Yes.”
“Then you have your answer.” He wet his lips. “But we’re finishing the dance.”

Excerpt:
“Uh…” She gave up pretending to breathe normally, her neck ceasing to support her head. “Ky, please…”
And then she felt it. Tiny bites along the insides of her thighs, branding her through the cotton leggings. Slow, precise, just enough pressure. Commanding her neck to play ball, Bree looked down to find Kyler’s eyelids at half mast, his white teeth sinking in every couple inches, his own chest and stomach shuddering in and out, his nipples in tight points. At the sight, the walls of Bree’s core constricted and released with enough force to send a rattling gasp flying from her mouth.
“Kyler.”
“Bree?”
“Just…”
“Yeah.”
His double grip beneath her knees vanished, but before her legs could fall, Kyler was inserting his hips to catch them. One arm snaked around the base of her spine, sliding her forward and out of the machine…and then there she was. Legs wrapped around her ex-boyfriend’s waist, heart pounding, moisture pooled between her thighs, their mouths separated only by a matter of an inch.
“You wore that cologne on purpose,” she breathed. “Admit it.”
His grin flashed. “Guilty as charged and unrepentant as a sinner.”
Her gasp only widened his smile. “Bragging about sinning now, are you, Kyler?”
“You say my name all shaken up and sexy like that when you want me to kiss your pretty mouth.” Hunger made his tone sound like two knives sharpening each other. “I reckon nothing has changed.”

Too Close To Call
Tessa Bailey
Romancing the Clarksons Series, Book 3.5
All-American wide receiver Kyler Tate’s life is about to change. A fairytale college career skyrocketed him to the NFL draft. Adoration and opportunity are thrown in his direction wherever he goes, thanks to being chosen in the first round by the Los Angeles Rage.
None of the accolades mean anything, though, without his high school sweetheart, Bree Sutton, by his side. Four years ago, she walked away from Kyler, choosing a quiet life over the flash and notoriety his career would someday bring.
Now he’s back in their Indiana hometown, refusing to leave for Los Angeles without her. Demanding she give their life together a shot. Her heart never stopped bleeding for the love of her life, but Bree’s decision was final. Too bad their wild attraction has only been amplified by their separation, and Kyler won’t quit until Bree is wearing his ring
4 Stars ✨
Second chance romances are a favorite, Bree and Kyler making this sexy, fun and feisty read as hot as a day at the beach. Kyler is so many good things wrapped in a beautiful package. He’s a genuine charmer, swoon worthy and so flippin sweet with a wickedly dirty mouth. Bree is sweet, dedicated and a very good woman. Pursuing her dream caused her to lose something she loved dearly, but never let it go from the heart. She’s quite the spunky woman. I enjoyed reading her.
Tessa Bailey has once again rocked my reading would and blown my mind with Too Close To Call. Kyler and Bree are a fun and flirty couple that make you smile constantly. I loved the banter between the two. Their connection hasn’t skipped a beat. Ms. Bailey gives the readers a sweet and heartfelt romance with passion so hot a cool down is required after reading. Too Close To Call is the perfect read to heat up you steamy beach day.

Review: Too Wild To Tame by Tessa Bailey
Too Wild To Tame
Tessa Bailey
Romancing the Clarksons series, Book 2
Paperback, 336 pages
Sometimes you just can’t resist playing with fire . . .
By day, Aaron Clarkson suits up, shakes hands, and acts the perfect gentleman. But at night, behind bedroom doors, the tie comes off and the real Aaron comes out to play. Mixing business with pleasure got him fired, so Aaron knows that if he wants to work for the country’s most powerful senator, he’ll have to keep his eye on the prize. That’s easier said than done when he meets the senator’s daughter, who’s wild, gorgeous, and 100 percent trouble.
Grace Pendleton is the black sheep of her conservative family. Yet while Aaron’s presence reminds her of a past she’d rather forget, something in his eyes keeps drawing her in. Maybe it’s the way his voice turns her molten. Or maybe it’s because deep down inside, the ultra-smooth, polished Aaron Clarkson might be more than even Grace can handle . . .

Aaron is a self-proclaimed manipulator, self-assured, smooth talking politician. The man is a player. All about the one night stands, no strings attached. The less feelings involved in the matter the better. This dirty talking, looks too good in a suit man has some deep emotion lying behind his get lost in eyes. Aaron is a complex man, as the layers begin to shed I realized that Aaron is a completely different man than I perceived him to be.
Grace is a very equine and quirky character. She’s the black sheep of a family in the political spotlight. Grace suffered a horrific tragedy during her teens, that caused her to vow to live life to the fullest. To be true herself. Grace is a wild, free spirit that I came to really enjoy . Her heart is huge and she’s a bit weird. Once you get to know her, Grace grows on you, not helping but to like her.
Tessa Bailey takes readers on an emotional ride with a panty melting, dirty talking man in Too Wild to Tame. The Clarkson’s are a complex family with vas amounts of personality. Aaron and Grace’s story is like peeling layers slowly to reveal the goods of the core. An untimely meeting ignited chemistry between two very opposite people. The pull of passion dances with Grace and Aaron leading to some very hot and steamy scenes. I believe they balance each other in ways they are unable to do themselves. I enjoyed Too Wild to Tame and am definitely looking for to reading more of the Clarkson’s their road tripping adventures.

Review: Rough Rhythm by Tessa Bailey
Rough Rhythm
Tessa Bailey
Made in Jersey Series, Book 1.5
God help the woman I take home tonight.
Band manager James Brandon never expected to find the elusive satisfaction he’d been chasing, let alone stumble upon it in some sleezy Hollywood meat market. Yet the girl’s quiet pride spoke to him from across the bar, louder than a shout. Troubled, hungry and homeless, she’d placed her trust in him. But after losing the grip on his dark desires that one fateful night, James has spent the last four years atoning for letting her down.
This time I’ll finally crack him.
Rock band drummer Lita Regina has had enough of James’s guilt. She wants the explosive man she met that night in Hollywood. The man who held nothing back and took no prisoners—save Lita. And she’ll stop at nothing to revive him. Even if it means throwing herself into peril at every turn, just to get a reaction from her stoic manager. But when Lita takes her quest one step too far, James disappears from her life, thinking his absence will keep her safe.
Now it’s up to Lita to bring James back…and ignite an inferno of passion in the process.
Reader Advisory: ROUGH RHYTHM contains fantasies of nonconsensual sex, acted upon by consenting characters. Readers with sensitivity to portrayals of nonconsensual sex should be advised.
4.5 Stars
James has two sides. One that is so protective it’s almost to the point of obsession. The other that is dark, dangerous and addictive. He battles within himself constantly. A past, dark desires and guilt hold James back from knowing true bliss.
Lita is bold, loud and fun. A talented woman who will go after what she wants. No matter the cost or danger. James left a taste for a desire that only he can give the night the two met. Lita continuously puts herself on the line hoping, wanting something but doesn’t quite expect.
Tessa Bailey is my Queen of dirty talking men. OMG, Raw and gritty with a dark edge. I loved every word. Rough Rhythm is a fast, leaving you breathing hard, hits you where it counts novella. Raw desires, intense passion and deep emotions, Tessa Bailey seduces readers with her dirty words and charismatic characters.
For the lovers of a hands down dirty book, Rough Rhythm is the read for you!

EXCERPT:
This time she would finally crack him.
Ignoring stares from her cellmates, Lita jogged in place, preparing for the confrontation with James, her band manager. This was her ritual before shows, too. It loosened the limbs, shook out the demons. She took her role as drummer for Old News seriously, same way she considered riling up James a form of art. For four freaking years, they’d been repeating this song and dance—and Lita was over it. Today was the day James lost his cool. The way he’d lost it the night they met.
Remembering the state she’d been in when James found her, Lita jogged a little faster. At twenty-three, she wasn’t that scrawny, starving girl now. Not in most ways, anyway. The memory of what took place that night still had the ability to steal her breath, make her restless. But unlike the girl she’d been at nineteen, Lita didn’t wait for fate to wave its magical hand. No. She grabbed fate’s wrist and shook, shook, until the pieces fell into an acceptable pattern. That modus operandi is what had landed her inside a musky, Wilshire division holding cell of LA County’s jail system.
Lita didn’t have a head for numbers, but was pretty damn sure today would mark the twenty-first time James had bailed her out of a jail-type situation. Looking after the interests of Old News’s members was his job. Their relationship, however, fell outside the parameters of a typical musician-manager arrangement. Not that he would ever admit it. No, James simply continued to show up when Lita got into trouble, lecturing her about proper behavior on the way to dropping her off. And leaving. He left every time, that distinguished jaw of his firmly set, sunglasses hiding the guilt she knew lurked in his eyes four years later.
Not this time. Last night, Lita had gone above and beyond to ensure this morning wrought one of two outcomes: James quitting, giving up on her like everyone else did eventually, or his control finally slipped. One way or another, she wouldn’t be in limbo come tonight. She’d been there too long.
Lita stopped jogging when she heard the jingling of the guard’s keys. James was right on time, as usual. Her cellmates craned their necks, some coming to their feet in the hopes they were being released. Lita stowed a pang of sympathy and whipped her hair into a quick ponytail. The guard cast a tired-eyed glance in her direction and unlocked the door. “Lita Regina, your bail has been posted.”
