Emotional and Suspenseful – if the action doesn’t get you, then emotions will.
Love Another Day is the emotional roller coaster story of Brody and Stephane. I could not put this one down. Brody is a hard headed yet loyal alpha man. His confidence lies and his work and not in himself. Stephanie is strong willed woman who will willingly put herself on the line to save others.
Lexi Blake wraps readers into Love Another Day. I loved this story. There’s attraction, chemistry and a whole lot of action. Steph and Brody are uniquely complementary to each other. Both are unbelievably strong willed. Protectors and nurturers. Their connection is undeniable, even though it was tried. The amount of growth that both Steph and Brody experienced throughout Love Another Day just add to the depth of their tale. Personal demons, self worth and danger can’t stand in the way of connection like the one Steph and Brody share. A fabulous addition to the Masters and Mercenaries Series.

“No reflection on you and your skills, which are sublime, my beautiful baby.” He grinned wicked grin. “Just that this guy is unbreakable. There’s no edge for him any Domme can get anywhere near to push him off and that’s what he’s looking for. Being taken to the farthest edge and shoved right the fuck over.”
Taken to the farthest edge.
Evangeline was not into that. She wasn’t into extreme. Not like many who were into that in the life.
No, the edges she coasted were exactly what Aryas wasn’t quite saying, but she read this guy couldn’t handle.
Unless he had the right Mistress to lead the way.
Damn it all, she was getting wet.
“Five grand?” she snapped.
Aryas pressed his lips together and she was too peeved to get more peeved that he did it to suppress his amusement.
He unpressed them to confirm, “Five grand. But Leenie, babe, just to get it straight, he walks away from you at first meet, we’re even. It’s only if you get a crack at him the bet is on.”
She lifted her nose at the same time she snatched the paper from his hand, declaring, “He won’t walk away.”
“He might,” Aryas said gently, and his sudden loss of humor and careful tone made her focus on him again. “Beware of that. He’s done it before. In some ways, he doesn’t give a shit about anything. In some ways, he can be frustratingly choosy.”
“If I want him, he walks away, I’ll still get him,” she announced.

Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA and nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorizeand she hadn’t taken her first breath!). Her mother said they took Kristen away, put her Mom back in her room, her mother looked out the window, and Gary was on fire (Dr. King had been assassinated four days before). Kristen’s Mom remembered thinking it was the end of the world. Quite the dramatic beginning.

Sensual, sexy, uplifting and erotic.
Cassia was involved in an accident leaving her with a lasting fear. Darkness. Cassia is a strong woman who has become overwhelmed by the negative impact on her daily living. Cassia is such a brave woman willing to face her fears head on and alone.
Quinton is the Master I wanted more of and did we get him. The man is amazing in too many ways. Commanding and dominant, yet sensitive and caring. He’s a fun loving guy with with a bit of a need of an adrenaline fix. Observant and wise, Quinton knows just how to push the limits in the best way possible.
Mastering Her Senses is a quick read that leaves you breathless. Laura Kaye embraces the sensual side of BDSM with Quinton and Cassia’s story. Intense chemistry, physical attraction and a bit of history make this story of healing my hottest read of the year so far. Cassia and Quinton personalities work so well together. I was able to feel emotions flowing through the pages as if I were experiencing the story myself. An intense yet playful and fun, fast paced story that’s light on the drama and heavy on the passion. Master Her Senses is my favorite of the Blasphemy series thus far.

Nick is dangerous, brooding, commanding and hotter than sin. A demanding Russian with a dirty mouth. His past is paved with web of lies and deception. He carries heavy weights upon his heart and soul. Causing long running battles with his heart and mine. Nick tries to fight the feeling continuing to brew within, all the while feeling unworthy of such wonderful things.
Hayley is so much more than she appears. She may seem a naive but that girl has an underlying strength that you don’t see coming. She’s learned to adapt to her surroundings and being able to bend where most people wouldn’t see it. Through the course of this book Hayley’s character transforms from someone seeming timid to becoming one hell of a confident woman. I love those type characters.
Lexi Blake knows how to keep a reader up at night. Dangerous and sexy, romantic suspense at its finest. Hayley and Nikolai have a crazy, hot mess of a story. Their history is laced with feelings deeper than either one is willing to admit. They are the one that haunts each other. When circumstances beyond their control push them together the past returns and wants for the future are had. Heavy on suspense and a few what the crap moments kept this reader turning the pages from beginning to end. Suspense takes the forefront however there is no lacking of hot passion within the pages. One scene in particular to make one time readers of the series quite happy and is hands-down hot. For His Eyes Only is an intense read, yet I expect nothing less from Lexi Blake.

In real life we need to be way more careful and choosey than my heroines are. Now, as for me. I live in a tiny little place called Lake Stevens with my daughter, and our many pets. I’m an animal lover. Yup it’s true. I am one of those people who lets the dog on the couch and has cat hair on her sweaters.

After five years, Kenna Sloane stood in front of him. Only, something was different about her now. Restrained, even. Griffin studied her for a long moment. She held her position beautifully, as she always had, with her posture perfect and her feet spread and her arms folded behind her back. The blond hair was different. They both chuckled at speaking at the same time, but the awkwardness was evident in the sound of his laugh and the expression on her face. “Kenna, are you here to talk or play tonight?”
“Both, Sir,” she whispered.
He tilted his head. “And, were you hoping to do those things with me?” He couldn’t assume, not after everything. But his body was like a rope pulled taut in anticipation of her answer.
She licked her lips, and Griffin felt it everywhere, because the simple action revealed that she wasn’t as unaffected as she was putting on. “Yes, Sir. If you’re available. And, uh—” Her shoulder moved in a tiny nervous shrug. “—interested.”
Relief and heat flooded through his veins. Kenna Sloane was here for him, after all this time. He leaned in and put his face next to hers, his mouth near her ear. “Oh, little Kenna, I’m fucking interested, all right.”

Griffin hesitated only one more second.

After five years, Kenna Sloane stood in front of him. Only, something was different about her now. Restrained, even. Griffin studied her for a long moment. She held her position beautifully, as she always had, with her posture perfect and her feet spread and her arms folded behind her back. The blond hair was different. In the year they’d played together, he’d rarely seen it her natural color, and he grew to enjoy the surprise of how she’d change for him, liking a butterfly ever transforming anew.
But that wasn’t what was tripping his internal alarms. He focused on her face. There. The cool distance in her eyes. The careful neutral of the expression. This was a woman who’d fearlessly and sometimes brazenly worn her emotions on her sleeves. A woman whose feelings he’d seen in her revealing eyes long before she’d voiced them all those years ago. But now, only her mouth dropping open revealed some little chink in her carefully crafted armor.
She was still stunningly beautiful, though. Breathtaking.
“It’s good to see you after all this time, Kenna,” he finally said in what amounted to a monumental understatement.
