Shelter for Sophie
Badge of Honor: Texas Heroes Book 8
Release Date August 15, 2017
Blurb:
She’s shy, he’s stoic…not the hardest personality traits to overcome, but Sophie Carson and Roman “Chief” Proudfit have their work cut out for them.
Sophie has a crush on the silent-but-studly firefighter next door. She’s been pining away silently while secretly helping the hardworking man by mowing his lawn—which he thinks is being done by her nonexistent husband and/or boyfriend. He’s definitely not big on neighborly chitchat, but with her stutter, that suits Sophie just fine. But now a misunderstanding at a bar has put him even further out of her reach.
Roman’s difficult upbringing on an Indian reservation is a sore spot, so when he thinks Sophie is taking advantage of poor people for medical trials at her workplace, he lets her know exactly what he thinks. But when he discovers he misunderstood, he’s man enough to admit it…and also that he should have opened his eyes to his beautiful, sensitive neighbor sooner.
As the couple gets closer, each helping the other overcome lifelong pains, for the first time in years, Roman has something to live for other than his job. And, as he discovers when Sophie puts herself in danger, something even bigger to lose…
** Shelter for Sophie is the 8th book in the Badge of Honor: Texas Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

Susan Stoker
Delta Force Heroes Book 3
Published: November 15, 2016

But that s exactly what happens when an accident mid-air forces Harley to land them both safely. She s earned Coach s complete gratitude, and even more, sexual interest
Until she disappears without a trace.
With Harley missing, a happy ending might not be in the cards for the man who loves her especially when he becomes the main suspect.”

ARC Review: Rescuing Rayne by Susan Stoker
Rescuing Rayne
Susan Stoker
Delta Force Heroes, Book 1
As a flight attendant, Rayne Jackson is used to cancellations, but she never dreamed her latest would lead to a whirlwind tour of London with a handsome stranger…or a life-altering night in his bed. Heading home after another extreme mission, Keane “Ghost” Bryson hadn’t planned to seduce someone during his layover, but Rayne is too sweet to resist. Being a Delta Force member means lying to protect his identity, which is unfortunate, considering Rayne seems made for Ghost, right down to the tattoo on her back. For the first time in his life, regret fills him as he slips away the following morning.
Both are shocked when, months later, they meet again—under the worst possible circumstances. Seems fate has given them a second chance…if they can survive the terrorist situation they’re in. ** Rescuing Rayne is the 1st book in the Delta Force Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.
4 Stars
Ghost is one of those Alpha men you can’t help but to enjoy his presence , even if he’s stubborn and hard headed. The man is walking sex. He’s loyal, a leader and true brother. Humor and passion make Ghost a man to hold on tight to.
Rayne seems to always have some kind of excitement going on. Never a boring moment with her. She’s a strong, confident and witty woman. Her humor and awesome come back will leave a smile on your face while reading.
Susan Stoker once again captivates readers with damn fine writing, well developed characters, and a plot that keeps you going. Rescuing Rayne is a romance, laced edge of your seat read, that you don’t see coming. A excellent balance of suspense and passion. Ms. Stoker starts the Delta Force Heroes series with a bang.

ARC Review: Protecting the Future by Susan Stoker
Protecting the Future
Susan Stoker
SEAL of Protection Series, Book 8
An unforgiving desert, perilous mountain terrain, a rising body count and insurgents on the hunt…all of this and more stands between the SEALs completing their mission and returning home to their women, left to bravely deal with fears of their own stateside.
Sometimes a mission is more than one team can handle. With a little help from newfound friends, the SEALS won’t stop until they’ve won the day. Failure is not an option.
** Protecting the Future is the 8th and final book in the Seal of Protection Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

Susan Stoker overwhelms readers in the best way with the conclusion to her Seal Of Protection Series, Protecting the Future.
This was a book you didn’t just read, you felt it. Passion, joy, worry, friendship, faith and hope grip your heart as you hold your breath with the turn of the page. As the Seal Team heads out for their lasted mission Ms. Stoker reminds readers of why all the men fight for what they do and women who stand beside them.
An overwhelming good book. Drama, passion and danger keep the story moving. While love, anticipation and family give the reader all things we love in a romance. Ms. Stoker’s intricately written words take the reader into the story. Making it more of an experience than a read.
