Captured in Ink

Carrie Ann Ryan

Montgomery Ink: Boulder Series, Book 4.5

1001 Dark Nights

ebook
Expected publication: January 26th 2021

New York Times bestselling author Carrie Ann Ryan returns to the Montgomery Ink world with three souls bruised yet forever connected in this sexy and intoxicating ménage romance.

Julia and Ronin know their relationship is solid. They’ve been through hell and back, but their love has stayed true through it all. When Ronin’s ex, Kincaid, comes back to town, however, the two realize what they might be missing.

Kincaid didn’t mean to leave Ronin behind all those years ago. When tragedy struck not once, but twice, bringing with it the heat of horror, he couldn’t face the past he’d left behind. Now, he’s back and doesn’t know how he fits in with the seemingly perfect couple—especially not when their families will apparently stop at nothing to keep them apart.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.*

Ronin and Julia both have a past that made them both work really hard to have what they do. They found each other and a love that gave them more than they could ask for. Open and honestly with one another, able and always willing to talk. Communication has been their key all along the way. The devotion they share allows Julia and  Ronin to be themselves, discover their wants and needs and know genuine love and happiness. Ronin and Julia share a very unique relationship and are very open minded people with big hearts and a lot of love.

Circumstances beyond his control sent Kincaid into a downward spiral. Tragic events and losing his loves was more than he could handle. Darkness overtook when the hurt and pain became too much. It took quite a while for Kincaid to find his way back to himself. Although he’s not completely there he’s trying really hard. Kincaid showed up on his ex’s doorstep with an apology and a hope for more. Shock hit him on two fronts, one, his ex was married and two, they both welcomed him like family.

Captured in Ink is an emotionally deep and beautiful story.  Ronin and Julia have an amazing relationship. They’re honest and bold, willing to talk to each other and not afraid to express their dreams, wishes or fantasies.  Together they are amazing. Kincaid was a love lost that became a love returned. They approach their wants openly and honestly, knowing it could be a thing of wonder and beauty or we could go completely down the drain ruining a marriage and what could be a friendship. Once the nerves settle and they fall into being who they are, something amazing happens to these three people that have a dark past but found something more.

Montgomery Ink: Bolder Series, Book 4

The Montgomery Ink: Boulder series concludes with a fake relationship where the heat and emotional connection are anything but false.

The moment Madison McClard’s parents tell her that her ex is getting married, there’s no getting out of their latest scheme. One moment she’s trying to get out of their clutches. The next, they’re telling her exactly who she’ll marry to save the family name. The one thing her parents don’t count on, however: Aaron Montgomery.

Aaron Montgomery didn’t mean to lie. Still, as soon as he overheard Madison’s dilemma, the words fell out of his mouth. Now, he’s fake engaged to a woman he barely knows, who also happens to be his new brother-in-law’s cousin.

As the deception mounts, so does the attraction. They told themselves it was only a ruse, but as feelings ramp and dangers surge, this Montgomery may have just met his match.

He simply has to fight to keep her.

Aaron Montgomery is too sweet and a man you totally want on your side. He can’t standby and  watch the wrong before his eyes. Madison fights a controlling mother who thinks her word is law, in every aspect of her life. When Madison’s parents step over the line, Aaron  steps in to save the day. What’s wrong with two friends pretending to be engaged. Nothing right? Unless those two people have attraction that keeps pulling at them, chemistry that makes them perfect for each other. Yet the more Pretend a couple things they do the more they realize maybe this relationship isn’t so fake after all.

Carrie Ann Ryan has given us readers another fantastic Montgomery for our hearts to swoon on. Aaron and Madison are great together. Sweet, funny and sexy. Seduced in Ink it totally character driven and I loved getting to know Madison and Aaron. A man that reads romance, oh YES! Madison is a strong woman and leaves her life the way she wants no matter what her parents dictate. Aaron showed her a fun and flirty side of life that she was definitely missing. Seduced in Ink has given me another new favorite Montgomery.

The Montgomery Ink saga continues with a bonus romance between two strangers on a path of healing that leads to something far more.
Zia Clarkson thought she found her happily ever after, not once, but twice. Her first love is now engaged, and her second love broke more than her heart. Heart and soul bruised; she’s not looking for a relationship. Ever. Especially not with the uptight Meredith Legend who stars in her fantasies.
They promised each other one night of passion. And when the sun rises, they’ll walk away—even if they’re both lying to themselves about why.

Meredith has a great head for numbers but she feels like when it comes to love she pays bad choices. Zia thought she had found love, not once but twice and learned the hard way that love hurts you just as much as it brings happiness. Two people that have had love hurt them in the past or not looking for anything of the sort. But when an unexpected meeting and some undeniable attraction and chemistry make their presence known they both agree to one night. Ha! We all know one night is never enough. Quickly they both realize there’s more to what they’re feeling both women realize a big decision is going to have to be made.

I very much enjoyed Moments in Ink. Ms. Ryan hits readers with an emotional and touching tale of two women trying to heal and finding comfort, attraction and maybe even love in something neither one of them was looking for. We even get to visit with a few of our Montgomery friends making this a wonderful addition to an emotional and sexy series.

Embraced In Ink

Montgomery Ink: Bolder Series, Book 3

Paperback, 250 pages
Published May 12th 2020 by Carrie Ann Ryan
The Montgomery Ink saga continues with an unforgettable romance where two best friends make a bet that could change their lives forever.
Bristol Montgomery and Marcus Stearn have been best friends for so long, they sometimes forget when they weren’t as close as they are now. While friends and family think there’s something beneath the surface of their friendship, the two have always been steadfast in their stance on no heated looks or deeper feelings.
The problem? Years ago, they promised each other that if neither of them was married by the time Bristol turned thirty, they’d marry each other.
Even though both have long since decided never to force the other into an arranged marriage, circumstances and sheer stubbornness force them to refuse to back out of their deal.
Now, they’re determined to get married—even as dangerous exes and feelings they deny, block their path

Bristol Montgomery has traveled the world playing her music and sharing that passion to all kinds of people.  Yet all the places she has traveled, she was always willing to come home.  Home is with her beloved family and a best friend that is always there for her.  Marcus Stearn is truly the best friend that a girl, or anyone for that matter could ask for.  Loyal and devoted are the foundation of his being. The man has a huge heart and wears it on his sleeve.  Ten years prior a promise was made so that two people would never be lonely. Those years have passed and a promise is never taken lightly.

Embraced in Ink may just be the sweetest and most romantic Montgomery book of them all.  Friends to lovers is one of my favorite troupes out there. Marcus and Bristol’s friendship is rooted deep with trust and time, Years together, they formed a bond that was special and equine. Over time it developed into something indescribable for them.   Seeing them realize that they can’t fight the feelings that are harder to hide by the day is touching..A promise or a bet, or feelings that they just didn’t understand.  Their journey together changes. I love how they balanced  each other in a way that brings out their best while complementing one another at the same time.  Bristol and Marcus have their moments, like all good couples do, yet the tender way they are with each other is so worth the read. Family plays a big part for both Marcus and Bristol, and I loved how close both families are. Ms. Ryan delivers a sweet and tender edition to the Montgomery Ink: Bolder Series with Embraced in ink.

The Montgomery Ink saga continues with a new series set in Boulder, where a family secret might just change everything.

One mistake at a friend’s wedding rocks Liam Montgomery’s entire world, and everything he thought was true turns out to be a lie. But when an accident lands him in the ER, Liam meets someone that might just be the distraction he needs.

With two sets of overprotective siblings and a puppy that can’t help but get into everything, Liam and Arden might just fall harder than either one ever expected.

Who would have thought going to a friends wedding would change your life. Liam Montgomery discovered two things after a narrow miss and a trip to the hospital. One secrets hurt but only tear you apart if you let them and two, unexpected things happen when you look for them the least.

Liam Montgomery, former model turned best selling author is 100% Montgomery. Talent seems to have a way of coming with Montgomery name and family means everything to him. A bit of a recluse due to the nature of his work, Liam has a soft and caring spirit I didn’t expect. His world got turned upside down and inside out. I admire his willingness to want to think things out and not jump to conclusions. Time and a distraction is what Liam thinks he needs.

Arden just wants to live her life. Diagnosed with lupus, Arden fight a battle with her body on a daily basis. Some days are better than others. A smart and intelligent woman with a passion for research. An avid reader, that we all can relate too. Arden is an extremely strong character. She doesn’t do it because she wants to she does it because she has to and she knows no other way. Using her mind and the resources she has to adjust her job around the way she can work even on a bad day. Leaving with a disease is not easy and too many times Arden has watched good people walk away from her life.

Neither Liam or Arden would have thought in a million years that a trip to the ER would have love staring them right in the face. A freak accident at a wedding and a Lupus flare up made to strangers smile at one another one when smiling was the last thing on your mind. Wrapped in Ink is all wrapped in emotions and healing. Liam and Arden met by chance and then ran into each other again by chance. Their easy nature with each other allow their personalities to shine through even while going through their personal battles. Arden and Liam have enough in common other personalities mesh well allowing their chemistry to come through naturally. Wrapped in Ink is a heavy story with a happy end, that is total Montgomery.
