Review: Immortal Angel by Loni Lynne
Loni Lynne
Guardians of Dacia Series
Vietnam was forty years ago and yet Mike Linder can’t forget the horrors of the past. His struggle with PTSD has no place for the lovely, Tina Johnston. As much as he wants her out of his life, he can’t bear to be without her. What they shared the past few months is beyond anything he deserves. But when he finds she’s gone to work for his boss, Rick Delvante and is sent to infiltrate a group of rogue vampires in Germany, he is beside himself. The only thing he can do is face his worst fear and go into battle once more to bring her home safely.
But what he finds is not the woman he left behind. Is he too late to save his Immortal Angel?
Tina and Mike have something bigger than they both realize. Fear and stubbornness, has Mike pushing away a light in his darkness. Pride and determination make Tina want to prove there is more to her than a fragile mortal.
Action, legend and lore captures the reader’s attention while sending them on a journey of destined romance. Characters challenging themselves to face life, love and the destiny changing them by the minute. An amazing world within a world, Ms. Lynne created something magical and intriguing, that I enjoyed getting lost in. A shorty short that packs a punch!
FREDERICK BOOK FESTIVAL RECAP and Giveaway!
Frederick Book Festival
This past Saturday all the girls here on Coffee Books Life had the opportunity to meet and greet with a bunch of authors at the Frederick book festival. Panels, prizes, authors, swag and some wine made this event one of the best free events in the area. The day started by getting a tote bag with swag and a schedule with panels hosted by various authors. In a ballroom area all the authors had tables where we could get autographs, pick up swag, buy their books, or just talk about anything and everything.

Some of the authors included: Vivi Dumas, Melissa Schroeder, Mary Behre, PJ Schnyder, Eliza Knight, Loni Lynne, Elisabeth Staab, etc. The list goes on and on.
Our girls went to some panels including: Romance mash-up- how most books fall under more than one category of genre and how an author promotes a book that doesn’t fall into one place.
Blogger panel- Hosted by Joyfully reviewed; we asked questions to make this blog the best it can be.
Romancing the Hero with wine and chocolate- Ok…to be honest the wine and chocolate was for us but we had a great time naming some of our favorite heroes and what it means to be a heroic character.
Overall, it was a tiring but amazing day and we got lots of signed goodies that we are giving away to one lucky reader! WHOOT!
We have a Frederick Book Festival tote bag signed by almost all the romance/paranormal authors in attendance! They include Melissa Schroeder, PJ Schnyder, Vivi Dumas, Eliza Knight, Loni Lynne, Elisabeth Staab, Jean Murray, Cat Miller, Rachel Rawlings, Lynne Silver, Tee Morris, Philippa Ballantine and many more. A Santinis poster signed by Mel! And see that basket of goodies, that is included as well! A lot of the swag is signed! This is a pretty good load if I do say so! To enter please you the Rafflecopter below! Good luck and we hope to see you at the Frederick Book Festival in 2015.
