Blake tried to do the noble thing but it didn’t work out quite so noble. Causing two people heartache and turmoil. His loyalty and willingness are part of what make him the man that he is. Blake has a dirty, dirty mouth on his fine body.
Adriana, the amount of strength this woman possesses and doesn’t realize is truly amazing. Many times over she could have been broken to the core and her keeps on living. Even though it hard, she finds a way. She broke but was never completely broken.
Intensity emotional. Ms. Coopmans depth and detail to the tragic, raw and honest emotions of this breath catching tale are spot on. To the point of feeling them in your bones. Adriana and Blake have an unusual story but I loved how the complexities of their lives together and apart created a story I couldn’t stop listening to. My only issue was, there were a few flashback scenes that were hard to distinguish at first. Making me have to go back and listen. This doesn’t taking away for my rating. As this is something that happens with audios.
Narrators Lacy Laurel & Logan McAllister brought every emotion front and center, allowing listeners to bond with the characters through their voices.

- Tell us about the process of turning your book into an audiobook.
- I love the process. It can be crazy at times trying to match a voice with the characters you’ve grown to love. Once you find them, the fun begins.
- Do you believe certain types of writing translate better into audiobook format?
I don’t. Of course, we all have a certain type of format we love to write or read in. It honestly depends on what works for every individual. - Was a possible audiobook recording something you were conscious of while writing?
Not at all. - How did you select your narrators?
My lovely narrator found me. 😉 Not only did I fall in love with Lacy’s voice, I fell in love with her! She’s very passionate about her job. I’ve enjoyed bonding with her and look forward to producing more audio books for your reading pleasure! She’s good guys. Really good. - How closely did you work with your narrators before and during the recording process? Did you give them any pronunciation tips or special insight into the characters?
Lacy and I worked very closely. She was on top of it throughout the entire process. Lacy and Logan sent me chapters to approve before they started. I knew they would do Blake and Adrianna right. - Were there any real life inspirations behind your writing?
There’s always an inspiration behind every story I write. - How do you manage to avoid burn-out? What do you do to maintain your enthusiasm for writing?
If I become burned out, I stop and read. Take my mind off of my story completely. - Are you an audiobook listener? What about the audiobook format appeals to you?
I’m an audio book listener in the car, while I’m working out or traveling.

Fuming, Ísa made sure to set the alarm system and lock up. Everyone else was already well into their summer vacation—the sole reason Ísa was here was because she hadn’t been able to work on her lesson plans at home.
Her upstairs neighbor was having repairs done to her bathroom that required banging and hammering.
Not all of it involved nails and wood.
Hopefully the repairs would be finished by now. There was only so much ecstatic orgasmic screaming that a single woman in online-dating purgatory could stand without being driven to violence.
She spotted the tan-colored gardening truck the instant she came down the front steps of the school’s imposing redbrick main building and turned left to head toward her car. The hot gardener had parked it right next to her zippy blue compact. The front of the truck had four doors with tinted windows while the large bed was piled with shovels and other manly tools as well as a huge sack of clippings.
His light brown T-shirt was hanging over the top of the tailgate.
Which meant he was still walking around topless somewhere around here.
“Get in your car, Ísa,” she muttered to herself, well aware what would happen if she came face-to-face with that delicious hunk of manhood. Because while she might’ve conquered her shyness, she knew her limits.
Confronted by a bare-chested man who made her ovaries explode, she’d turn bright pink, lose her ability to form speech, and end of story. “Oh—”
She would’ve bounced off that sculpted chest if he hadn’t grabbed her by the hips.
“Hey, sorry,” he said with a startled smile that lit up the dazzling blue of his eyes. “I didn’t see you.”
“No, um, my fault.” It looked as if he’d crouched down to check one of his tires or something else but had risen to his feet right when she swung around to get into her car. And God, his skin was so hot and smooth and he was so tall and his shoulders were so broad and her mouth was drying up. The stuttering would begin at any moment.
The same stuttering Suzanne had mocked relentlessly when they were fourteen. Until Ísa had gone silent around everyone except the few friends she trusted. And now that horrible, ugly-hearted girl was getting married, having a baby, getting a happily-ever-after. Added to which, Ísa’s mother was jerking her on a string like she was a marionette, and her last “date” had asked her to call him Woofy and reward him with doggy biscuits.
The blue of the gardener’s eyes flickered with a hot flame.
And she thought… I know him. But before she could follow that faint thread, all the fury and hurt and frustration and sheer aggravation in Ísa ignited into an incandescent inferno.
She went mad.
Grabbing the hot gardener’s beautiful face in her hands, she said, “I want to kiss you.”
A wicked grin. “Go on ahead.”

Funny with a good helping of sexual tension.
Lorelei James has me cracking up laughing with Sterling and Liam in Tripped Out. Sterling’s way of fighting fire with fire is something to behold. She’s strong and tenacious, I really like that about her. Liam is the don’t judge a book by its cover kind of man. He’s confident and professional by day and a dirty talking man by night. Liam has an amazing about of depth to him. Many layers that him to be the wonderful man that his is. Two very strong willed and stubborn people butting head in a way that creates this slow burning sexual tension and attraction. Talk about banter. Liam and Sterling have it down. I love they way their chemistry built, fueled their passion and ignited something much larger.
Tripped Out is hands down one of the funniest books I have reads this year. I so enjoy Ms. James writing style. She knows how to rope the readers in. Tripped Out was a quick, one sit ready that kept me entertained from beginning to end.

Mitchell carries a secret that leaves his heart heavy and missing a piece. Arrogant and stubborn yet loyal and dedicated. His protective nature explains the fierceness that makes people run away and the caring and gentleness he provides to his pack and friends.
Dawn is trying to find her place in a changing world. Being a maternal dominant without wee ones to care and nurture has taken a bit of a toll on her. Strong, independent and the amount of caring and love she is willing to give is beyond words.
Changes are a foot for the Talon Pack. Action, suspense and slow burning passion. Carrie Ann Ryan keeps readers on the toes with the surprises she reveals in Destiny Disgraced. Dawn and Mitchell have a connection but their hearts, heads and wolves are not getting in line together. Mitchell helping the Central pack opened him to something he didn’t think he could ever want again. Dawn gained more than a friendship by taking a helping hand. I enjoyed seeing the passion that Mitchell and Dawn shared. The compassion and independence along with chemistry makes Mitchell and Dawn an amazing couple.
