Today we are celebrating the release of NIGHT’S END, the last book in the indigo court series by Yasmine Galenorn. Yasmine is one of my favorite authors and here at Coffee, Books, Life Blog we are beyond excited to share our review of NIGHT’S END and we have TWO contests!!!
NIGHT’S END (Indigo Court, #5) by Yasmine Galenorn
Eons ago, vampires tried to turn the dark Fae in order to harness their magic, only to create a demonic enemy more powerful than they could have imagined. Now, in a final push, Myst returns with a vengeance to bring the Golden Wood forever under the rule of the Indigo Court.
Newly crowned Fae Queens Cicely and Rhiannon have embraced their destinies and claimed their thrones. But Myst is rising once more, and now, at the helm of her armies, she begins her final assault on the Golden Wood. As Fae, vampires, and magic-born alike fall under the tide of blood, Cicely and her friends must discover a way to destroy the spidery queen before they—and their people—face total annihilation.
Yasmine Galenorn is the New York Times, Publishers Weekly, and USA Today bestselling author of the Otherworld (Sisters of the Moon), the Indigo Court and the upcoming Fly By Night urban fantasy series. In the past, she also wrote two mystery series for Berkley Prime Crime (one under the pen name of India Ink) and eight nonfiction metaphysical books.
Yasmine is a caffeine junkie (iced, quad shot, almond milk sugar free no whip lattes), and describes her life as a blend of teacups and tattoos–the former in her china closet, the latter on her skin.
She is a shamanic witch, has been married to Samwise Galenorn since 1993, is the mother of four cats, and they reside in Kirkland WA.

As a loyal fan of the Indigo Court series, knowing the end is coming is always bittersweet! You want to know but you don’t want it to end! What I had pictured in my mind for the way NIGHT’S END would close out this series was far from the mystical and dark tale that Ms. Galenorn has magically woven together.
Cicely, newly crowned Queen of Snow and Ice, is out to finish the war with Myst, Queen of the Indigo court. Looking deep within herself, Cicely finds there is a way to win this war and bring balance back to new forest. Learning that trust as Queen is not the same as trust as a friend. Everyone I have come to love and hate throughout the Indigo Court series is tested to their core to prove themselves. Friendships are further deepened or put at an arm length. Love is lost and memories are made. Sacrifice and loyalty come unexpectedly. Embedded with magic and mayhem, NIGHT’S END is a dark and sexy fairy tale like no other.
NIGHT’S END had a few very unexpected twists that enhanced the depth to story that made me believe this book and series could have ended no other way. Ms. Galenorn has an amazing talent for world building. Creating a world taken over by ice and darkness, making you want to play there. Throwing in every kind of paranormal element, expect the unexpected! NIGHT’S END is a thrilling conclusion to the Indigo Court Series!
NIGHT’S END can be read as a stand alone novel. Ms. Galenorn has given the reader enough of the back story to know and understand. However reading the Indigo Court series books 1-4 will truly take NIGHT’S END to a whole new level. Dark Fae, Vampires, Shifters, Magic Born, Witches and Humans blended together to make an unforgettable tale. Not only do I recommend NIGHT’S END, the Indigo Court series as a whole!
I was given a copy of this book from the author/publisher via netgalley for an honest review!
